Meet the Orthodontist

Meet Dr. Javid Yavari

I love being an orthodontist! To know that I am giving my patients the lifelong gift of a smile makes every day rewarding. As an orthodontist, I consider it one of my greatest goals to make your treatment as comfortable, convenient, and rewarding as possible. My staff and I will work with you to create a treatment plan that is as unique as your very own smile. Orthodontics is a wonderful way to achieve the smile the you’ve always wanted, and I look forward to helping you throughout your entire treatment.

Education

My journey toward becoming an orthodontist began when I received my undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. I went on to attend the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, graduated with honors, and pursued an advanced general dentistry residency at Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics.

Upon completion of my residency, I continued my education by specializing in orthodontics, and receiving a master of science in oral biology. I have been practicing orthodontics in the Atlanta area since 1999.

Continuing education is an important part of what I do as an orthodontist. I am very proactive about continuing education and staying current on advancements in orthodontics. My staff is also dedicated to regular continuing education, so that our practice is able to offer the most advanced treatment options.

Professional Associations

I am an active member of several professional orthodontic and dental associations that help provide me and my staff with endless continuing education opportunities. I am a member of the:

Surrounded by Smiles…

Outside of the practice, I am always surrounded by the warm, happy smiles of my wonderful family. My wife and I have one son and one daughter, and together we enjoy traveling to new and exciting places. I love being an active parent in my children’s lives, and being able to watch as they grow and change each year. We live locally and it's always an honor when I am able to give back to the local community and schools for all of the support they’ve given me over the years.
