Clear Aligners
Using gradual force, clear aligners gently move teeth into alignment without the use of metal wires or brackets. They are made with very strong plastic material fabricated specifically to fit the patient’s teeth. As treatment progresses, the patient switches through a series of aligners, each one bringing the teeth closer to their correct alignment.
Early Orthodontic Treatment
The goal of early intervention and treatment is to prevent more serious problems from developing in the future. If an irregularity is allowed to progress, later treatment may be more complicated.
Orthodontic Emergencies
True orthodontic emergencies are rare, but we are available to you when they occur. As a general rule, you should call our office when you experience severe pain or have a painful appliance problem you can’t take care of yourself. We’ll be able to schedule an appointment to resolve the issue.
In-Ovation® System Braces
In-Ovation is a new and technically advanced system that can give you the radiant smile you have always wanted more quickly than traditional braces without needing ugly, unsanitary, and uncomfortable ties or elastics. Best of all, there’s never a need to have your braces tightened! Using light and gentle forces, In-Ovation makes the path to a beautiful smile faster and more comfortable than you ever thought possible!
Interceptive Orthodontics
In traditional orthodontic treatment, the patient only begins treatment after most or all of their adult teeth have grown. However, specific issues with the bite, dental alignment, and facial development can appear long before the last few adult teeth appear.
Invisalign
Invisalign uses a series of soft plastic aligners that fit comfortably over your teeth to gradually and gently straighten your smile. No wires or brackets to irritate your mouth! Unlike traditional braces, you can remove your Invisalign aligner during oral hygiene routines and while eating your favorite meals. Brushing and flossing are not complicated, and you don’t have to give up any foods you love.
Opal Seal
Opal Seal is a sealant and primer in one. It helps us prime your teeth for brackets to keep them firmly in place. At the same time, it acts as a seal to protect your teeth from decalcification and decay. Opal Seal also reinforces your enamel by releasing fluoride. It lasts several months and can be reapplied when necessary.
Retention
You’ll have to wear a retainer to preserve and stabilize your results, to keep your smile looking its best after the braces come off. Retainers are needed to control or limit potential changes in tooth position. They are used after braces treatment to hold teeth in their correct alignment while the surrounding gums, bones, and muscles adjust to the new positioning of your teeth.
Teeth Whitening
Our orthodontist recommends using the Opalescence Go whitening system. It is a professional alternative to over-the-counter whitening options. It’s a simple, fast, and great-tasting way to whiten a smile. It does not require impressions or custom trays. It’s ready to go right out of the package.
